FLORIDA NURSE OF THE YEAR. Holding trophies and plaque, emergency room nurse Ruslin M. Sanchez was named Nurse of the Year for outstanding work in the healthcare industry during the 50th anniversary celebration of the Bethesda Memorial Hospital and Bethesda Healthcare System in Boynton Beach, Florida. In the same occasion, the Florida Marlins Baseball Team in Miami which supports the nursing profession in the South Florida Area, also awarded a trophy to Sanchez. Son of newsman Lino and Linda Sanchez of Angeles City, Nurse Sanchez is a 1993 graduate of the Angeles University Foundation College of Nursing and lives in the West Palm Beach County of Florida.
